Pumpkins and Such

I have posted these beautiful pictures in memory of fall in Utah. Fall in Texas is a little different. It is currently 92 degrees and I don't think the leaves will be changing anytime soon.

Now that is is officially "fall" I have been getting excited and putting out my Halloween decorations. I love fall and I love Halloween. However, I can't think about Halloween without remembering the awful time I've had carving pumpkins over the years. When I was really young my dad would carve my pumpkin for me, but once I started getting a little older I had to do it myself. What resulted was usually a huge hole on the front of the pumpkin which we would attempt to make into Boo, a large mouth, or something of the sort.

Well last year I finally had one of my more successful carvings, so I am hoping to have similar luck this year. I have found these fun pumpkin designs, maybe I will give them a try! More to come!
