100 Things About Me

1. I am Jennifer Griffith

2. I used to be Jennifer Forman

3. I am married to Raymond Griffith

4. We met in 10th grade chemistry class, I was 15, he was 16, we dated for 3 years in high school.

5. I waited for him for 2 years while he served a mission for our church in Mexico

6. We got married April 30, 2004 in the Salt Lake Temple

7. I am the oldest of 4 children, and the only girl, I have twin brothers that are 2 years younger than me, and another brother that is 6 years younger than me

8. My little brothers are awesome, they are all totally different, but I have things in common with all of them

9. I was born at the Orem Community Hospital, at 12:36pm, January 18, 1983

10. I have lived in Springville, UT, Riverton, UT, Cedar City, UT, Provo, UT, and Washington DC, and right now I live in College Station, Texas

11. I love to travel. My favorite places I have been so far are Hawaii, Washington DC and New York City. I would love to travel anywhere new, but really want to go the the Carribean and Europe.

12. I am a huge sports fan. I have been a HUGE BYU football fan since I was 7, and a Utah Jazz fan since before that.

13. The Jazz and BYU are my favorite teams, but I also love the Yankees, the 49ers, the Philadelphia Eagles and a select few other teams, and I go for Texas A&M since Ray goes there.

14. I also like to play sports, growing up I played organized basketball and softball, and just about everything else with my brothers.

15. In high school I was on the Cross Country team for 4 years, I was not good, and don't ask me why I did it.

16. I was also on the track team for 2 years, I was a sprinter and I was actually pretty good, I ran the 100 M the 200 M and the 4X100 relay. I didn't run my Junior and Senior years and I regret that.

17. Instead of running track my last 2 years, I became the Cedar High Soccer Team's most dedicated fan. I went to all the games for 3 years, even in the snow, to watch Ray play.

18. I love running and I hate running.

19. I love to work out, the elliptical is my favorite and I also love swimming, biking and running or playing sports.

20. About a year ago I did a super-sprint triathlon (half of a sprint triathlon). It was a great accomplishment for me and I now have the goal to finish a sprint distance. That is: 800 meter swim, 12-20 mile bike ride and 3.1 mile run.

21. I love the beach, I could be a professional beach bum.

22. I also love palm trees and anything island-esque, at one point my entire house was decorated with a tropical theme.

23. I love water, the ocean, lakes, rivers, pools, etc.

24. I love camping.

25. I love mountain biking, it is one of my newer hobbies, so I am still trying to get good.

26. I love snowboarding. I skied for a few years and loved it, and then when I was 14 I started snowboarding, I haven't skied since.

27. I love the spring, summer and fall. I hate the winter, I don't like being cold. But I do like it when it snows on Christmas.

28. I really like to scrapbook, but I don't do it much anymore, I want to get started again.

29. I also really like to read, but don't do it much either. I LOVE the Harry Potter series, they are most definitely my favorite.

30. I have played the piano since I was 8. I wish I would have taken it more seriously when I was younger. I am alright, but I wish I was better.

31. I started playing the guitar in high school and I love it. I pretty much always play the same songs, so I am trying to learn new ones. Right now I am working on Tears in Heaven and Hey There Delilah.

32. I can't sing at all, but I love to sing at the top of my lungs in the car. Did you know that if you turn the music up really loud you can sound just like Faith Hill? My friend Becky taught me this!

33. I love music, I can listen to it 24 hours a day and never get sick of it.

34. I really like country music. I used to hate it, big time. Then in 11th grade I heard the song "Something Like That" by Tim McGraw. I loved it, and I have been hooked ever since.

35. Tim McGraw is by far my favorite artist. I have all of his CD's. I have seen him in concert 5 times, and I am going to my 6th next week. Ray says I'm obsessed.

36. I also love punk rock. I have quite a few bands I really like, and I am always finding more. I love going to punk shows.

37. Some of my favorite bands at the moment: Jack's Mannequin, Weezer, Melee, Waking Ashland, Cartel, the Format, Dashboard Confessional and Relient K.

38. My music library is pretty extensive. My iTunes library is almost as big as my hard drive. I am trying to figure out what to do about that.

39. I love pictures. I don't so much love getting pictures taken of myself, but I love having pictures of all the places I go. Another thing Ray thinks I am obsessed with.

40. I love making lists, I make several every week. This is one of my longer ones :)

41. I absolutely love the weekend. I love sleeping in and hanging out with Ray all day.

42. I am a total night owl, I have always stayed up really late. And I HATE getting up in the morning.

43. I like decorating my house. I can't wait until I have money and my own house, I am going to have so much fun. I am already getting lots of ideas.

44. Even though I don't have a house, I love watching home improvement shows. Some of my favorites are House Hunters, Flip that House, Design on a Dime, Designer Chic, etc.

45. I also like watching the Food Network, especially Rachel Ray.

46. I have become quite into several TV shows as of late. My must see shows are The Office (my very favorite), Prison Break, 24, Desperate Housewives, The Hills and American Idol.

47. My all-time favorite show is Friends. I have all 10 seasons on DVD. I also have the box sets for Everybody Loves Raymond and Lois and Clark. Other shows I loved growing up were Full House, Saved by the Bell and Home Improvement.

48. I also like watching sports on TV. I mostly like to watch my favorite teams, but I will watch almost any good game, this past Saturday I spent 12 hours watching football :)

49. I graduated from Cedar High School in 2001. I loved high school, it is a great memory in my life.

50. After high school I went to Brigham Young University. There were definitely good and bad things about it.

51. When I was little I said I was going to go to BYU and work at the Brick Oven (a pizza restaurant in Provo). While I was at BYU I worked at the Brick Oven for 2 1/2 years, it was a great college job.

52. I graduated from BYU in 2004 with a BS in Marriage, Family and Human Development.

53. When I grow up I want to be a mom, in the mean time I am kind of just faking my way through life.

54. Since I graduated college I have worked as a preschool teacher, a receptionist and a medical records clerk. Right now I am working as a secretary in the Texas A&M Office of Admissions and Records.

55. I have always dreamed of being a nurse, I will be a nurse someday.

56. I would love to get involved in non-profit type work to protect traditional family values. I would also like to be a wedding planner or a professional organizer.

57. I would love to have my own preschool, hopefully when I have a house, this is something I can pursue.

58. I really love babies and kids.

59. I have two adorable nieces. Leila is 7 and Mya is 4. I miss them a lot.

60. I love the mountains. There is nothing like a cookout in the mountains, hiking, biking, camping, etc. That is one thing I really miss about Utah.

61. For some reason I really like going on errands.

62. I hate cleaning, but I love having a clean house. Kind of a predicament.

63. I talk more than almost anyone. I was voted most talkative in high school. I even have a trophy. I was also voted best politician, Ray was mad.

64. I have been kind of politically involved ever since the 4th grade when I formed my anti-Bill Clinton coalition. Then there were my anti-Al Gore debates with Huck in high school. I am already getting fired up to take on Hillary.

65. The most famous people I have ever met were President George W. Bush and Laura Bush. We sat next to them at St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington DC. That was a good day! The program we got signed by the President is Ray's prized possession. It is hanging on our wall in a collage I made.

66. Other than them I haven't really met too many famous people, mostly just Jazz players.

67. I love going to the park. I still think it is fun to play on the playground. And we like to go feed the ducks.

68. I laugh a lot. I randomly break into laughter at various times during the day.

69. Okay, just had one of those random laughs, thinking about Kevin on the Office. He always sets the thermostat at 69.

70. I hate the phone. I screen calls and I don't return messages. But if it is someone I want to talk to I can easily talk for hours.

71. I am the oldest grandchild on one side of my family. Most of my cousins think I am their aunt.

72. I love Southern Utah. It is my home and it always will be.

73. I love the rain. It rains a lot more in Texas than in Utah, and a lot harder too. It is nice.

74. I am a total tomboy, or as Ray would say a burl.

75. Ray and my brothers say I am an emo because I have a spiked belt and Chucks and I listen to Dashboard Confessional. I am not an emo. Emos are weird.

76. I enjoy the sun and love being tan.

77. I LOVE shopping. I could go every day an not get sick of it.

78. I have a total fetish with buying hoodies. I probably have about 15 hoodies, and I already have a few more I am wanting. I also like buying jackets, shoes, t-shirts, headbands and sunglasses.

79. Target is my favorite store. You can get anything there, and it is nice stuff. The Target in College Station is kind of busy, so I don't go there too much. But I am happy because I saw a sign the other day and they are building a new Super Target here. I also love Ikea.

80. I like trying new foods but I never do at restaurants I like. Living somewhere new has been great for that, because I have tried lots of new places and new things.

81. My favorite restaurants are PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, Cafe Rio and Brick Oven.

82. I really like McDonalds, especially in the middle of the night.

83. I love eating out.

84. I am a good cook, I rarely put my talents to use.

85. I love sweets. I could live on ice cream, especially Blue Bell. I also love chocolate and cheesecake.

86. My favorite candy is Sweedish Fish and Twix.

87. As much as I like sweets, I usually prefer salty foods. I love to snack on pretzels and eat popcorn.

88. I love Dr. Pepper, especially with vanilla. Even more especially my new find Dublin Dr. Pepper.

89. I love road trips. I haven't been on too many lately, but we will be soon.

90. I love purple. It has been my favorite color my entire life. I also love pink. I think it is kind of weird that these are my favorite colors, since I'm not very girly.

91. I love monkeys. I collect them, and probably have over 50. I also have an assortment of many other stuffed animals.

92. One of my worst habits is talking to myself, I do it quite frequently.

93. One of my OCD's in life is that I sort my M&M's into colors and pairs.

94. I am a computer junkie. I spend hours at a time on the computer. I am especially fond of social networking sites, and my new find, blogging!

95. I love playing Trivial Pursuit, but no one will ever play me.

96. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

97. I love my religion, I know it is true, and it influences everything I do.

98. I love love, I love being in love, I don't care what it does to me.

99. I have the most amazing husband in the entire world.
